Carved Walnut Bed C.1900

Description

Beautifully carved French walnut bed c.1900. To take a 4' wide large single mattress. Superb shapely moulded head and foot boards with a profusion of exceptionally well carved floral and scrolling acanthus detail which is continued on the sides and feet. Maker's badge for J.H Bugey of Grenoble to the headboard. Slatted wooden bed base and a clean mattress (46" wide) supplied. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
