The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Buren Grand Prix and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case is in good condition with just a small flattened patch to the side, and the merest hint of unevenness to the back, nothing serious at all.

The glass lens is in lovely condition, as is the dial with just a little discolouration to the subsidiary seconds dial.
The watch comes with an antique silver albertina. The chain is unhallmarked but is probably Continental silver as the design was very popular for albertinas made around the turn of the century. Two of the ball ends are missing off the tassel fringe. The chain weighs 13.8 grams in total and measures 20cm including the t-bar and clasp.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
