Antique Art Nouveau Inlaid Mahogany Double Bed C1890 W6346/4.4

Description

Lovely antique art nouveau mahogany inlaid double bed of quality mahogany and dating from around 1890. It has a deep moulded top rail to both the head and footboard above a beautifully inlaid and stylised pure art nouveau arched panel of tulip design and inlaid with satinwood,ebony, olive & cherry wood. To either side there are vertical lats and it stands on squared tapering legs with original drop in side irons.

Takes a standard double matress

Measures: 53" high to headboard X 41" to footboard X 54" wide X 80" long

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the art nouveau period.
