Chase Hattan Watches has dated this piece to the 1960s.
What’s more, it’s fitted to its original expandable link bracelet that would fit a wrist to 7.5inches. Double fold Rolex clasp included.
The dial is a cream colour in the style of an ‘explorer’ dial with 3,6, 9 and 12 numbers separated by dalphin hour markers.
To our knowledge hands also appear to be correct and original. Plexiglass shows marks and scratches.
The condition of the watch is clearly worn, we have chosen not to polish and so marks and scratches are visible but nothing significant or to take away from the watch.
1156 Calibre manual wind movement.
A clear inscription on the back reads that this watch was presented as a 21st birthday present in 1961. We have chosen to leave this to ensure the watch remains original.
Our View = Rare to find in such great condition, at over 60 years old to still have its box means it has been well and truly treasured.
