The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Helvetia calibre 837 21-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Elco. Elco Clocks & Watches became the British agency for Helvetia in 1947.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the later winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chromium plated and there is some wear and marking. The screw-on case back is stainless steel. It states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition… there is some reflection showing in the photo.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds hand with red pointer end.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
