Mid 18th Century Oak Dresser Base

A rare and Beautiful mid 18th Century Oak Dresser Base of the most outstanding rich warm golden colour and patina, in marvellous original condition throughout. Retaining the original brass handles and escutcheons. The Cabriole legs with foliate carved knee and trefoil foot, the drawers with mahogany cross banding and lip moulded edges sit above a fine fretwork apron. The top is a superb example with magnificent glowing colour and patina.
 
It is one of the best examples of this type of Dresser base that we''ve seen.
