A 1958 Omega Seamaster Calendar Automatic wristwatch. A very rare black dial, with high shine finish. Applied gilt ''pencil'' hour markers, doubled up at 12. The hours and minutes are indicated by gilt ''Dauphine'' hands. Applied Omega logo with the script in a contrasting gilt finish. Signed Swiss made'' to 6 o''clock.
A stainless steel case with thick ''beefy'' lugs and a snap on case back. Omega winding crown. A particularly rare case design, with the ''big logo'' to the back - produced for a single year during 1958. Case reference 2849 10 SC.
The watch is powered by a 20 jewel caliber 503 Omega mechanism.. The 16m serial numbers date this watch to 1958.
