Welsh Open Potboard Dresser Base C.1820

Late Georgian oak Welsh potboard open dresser base c.1820. Solid oak top made from three boards with a moulded edge. Over five large drawers arranged around the raised centre with crisply carved spandrels. Cockbeaded drawer fronts with large turned and knobs with pearl inlays at the centre. Applied moulding to the bottom edge of the apron, continued on the sides. Turned front legs over an open potboard display shelf with oak boards, raised on shaped bracket feet at the front and sides. Oak panelled sides and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
