Antique Edwardian Upholstered Sofa of Georgian Style C1900 W6309/14.3

Description

Lovely antique edwardian upholstered sofa in the georgian style and dating from around 1900. It has a deep upholstered serpentine shaped backrest with lovely outsplayed arms and a feather filled full length seat cushion. It has a scroll & shell carved mahogany frieze and stands on mahogany cabriole legs.

This lovely sofa has been recovered in a pastel chintz oriental quality fabric.

Measures: 37" high to back X seat height 17" X 33" deep X 79" long

In very good condition being sound and solid and very comnfortable to sit on with a deep colour and patination to the mahogany legs and oozing the charm and character of the period.
