Antique Edwardian Mahogany Chippendale Double Wardrobe C1900 W6293/14.3

Description

Antique edwardian mahogany double wardrobe of georgian chippendale style and dating from around 1900. Please note the mahogany is not as 'red' in colour as the photographs show but is darker.

It has a cornice top with dentil moulding above two full length panelled doors with cross banded edges and a deep carved frieze to the centre with carved central divider and original brass handle. It also has a carved full length frieze to each side of the wardrobe. Internally there is a shelf with hanging rail and a quarter bevelled mirror to the inside of one door. The doors remove for ease of transporting and the body is in one piece.

Measures: 78" high X 22" deep X 16.5" internal depth X 48" wide

In very good condition with a deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the period.
