The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a 7 jewel Swiss stem-winding movement, a Moeris 19H, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.

The case back has the GSTP (General Service Time Piece) mark, together with the military arrow. The markings have faded with age.
The acrylic lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photo).

The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a single chain, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Also included is a 1920s enamel fob from Egypt (a little patch of damage at the top of the front and reverse). The chain is a different colour to the watch but this is how they came to us.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
