For sale, this rare British Royal Flying Corps issued Mark IV. A, white dial cockpit watch by Elliott Brothers, London, Issue No 809, dating circa 1916. Excellent fully signed dial with almost mint dial and deep blued handset, sub-dial slightly yellowed, the dial without stress lines chips or restoration. A fine unabused case with the correct WD markings. Correct Octava 15 jewel movement adjusted to 2 positions. The movement has just been fully serviced and is in full working order keeping time. A rare example by this maker. Diameter excluding crown and stem tube 50mm and a depth of 18mm. The price is £795.00, including shipping within the UK.
