Description

French Louis XVI style canapé settee, the carved rail in the typical manner of the period with highly detailed ribbon work along the crest among foliage, the frame a repeating motif of detailed leaves. To the scrolling acanthus caped arms, flanking around the bergere back and seat, with removable cushion. The canapé rests on carved fluted tapering legs.
