Here we have a beautiful quality 18th Century verge pocket watch by James Schofield, the key wind fuesee movement is ornately decorated and engraved for James Schofield, London with the serial number 1520.
 
James schofield is listed as working in London between 1747-1761 and the silver gilt case is hallmarked for London 1761 so it all ties together nicely, the watch is in running order and comes with it''s key, it requires a new piece of glass for cover.
