Description

An 18thc chippendale period small mahogany 2 part chest on chest with a "brushing slide" c1780 of great quality.

Cuban mahogany and superb oak linings generally denote it was made by a top cabinet maker of the day.

It is small and measures only 182cms h 110cms w and 53cms deep

In original condition with original handles and a "brushing/hair" slide.

Also the extra chippendale features of canted corners, dentil cornice and "blind fret" corners.

It has a great original colour and has no obvious repairs.

It was constructed in two parts for removal etc.
