Our painting depicts suburban Meudon, some six miles South of Paris, with its trademark viaduc built during the construction of the railway linking Paris-Montparnasse station to Versailles-Chantiers station. Two figures (and a dog?) are faintly visible on the street. Dating from circa 1930, the work has been restored, measures 24 x 33 cm and is signed at the lower left. The overall framed size is 43 x 34 cm
