A superb pair of water colours of Rouen in France by Paul Braddon that date to around 1900
They measure 40 inches by 30 inches , which is larger than his normal work.
With attractive subject matters, showing street scenes with a church and Rouen cathedral in the background. They capture the atmospheric period of town life in France at the turn of the 20th Century

Paul Braddon was born in Birmingham in 1864 and painted landscapes in the watercolour medium. His work can be found in a number of art galleries worldwide , especially the United States
He died in 1937 and his work is highly sought after and fetches respectable prices when it comes up for sale
