Art Deco Figure of Football Player

1920 - 1940
Description

An Art Deco period patinated green spelter figure of a soccer player on a marble base, c1930s, after Raymond Tschudin. It is inspired by the many figures of soccer players made by the sculptor and medallist for the 1938 Football World Cup. Raymond Tschudin (1916 - 1998) exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français and at the Grand Prix de Rome of engraving in 1945.

In excellent condition, height of 20 cm
