''Fishing Private’ Christmas card, circa 1958, signed and inscribed ‘Snaffles Xmas 58’ and ‘The visitor was an Osprey’ in pencil, printed and hand coloured, in a later mount and a later ebonised frame.
In his later years, Snaffles turned his hand to Christmas and Greetings cards; some reminiscent of his earlier print subjects, all typically characterful, and with a certain charm.
