Victorian Cast & Brass Half Tester Double Bed

Description

This is a handsome 19th century cast and brass half tester bed with a most decorative appeal dating from around 1890.

The bed has all of its attractive brassware present and is raised on its original ceramic castors.

The bed is in excellent clean condition and is complete with original side irons and comes with a good sprung base so is ready for use.

This takes a standard double mattress (4’6”)

The bed measures long 202 cms overall by 138 cms wide and is 222 cms high at the headboard and 120 cms high at the base.
