This beautiful oil on canvas is of a 19thC lady probably in mourning. Although plainly dressed her jewellery shows some status and her bonnet is particularly well detailed. She has a kindly face, twinkly eyes and shiny ringletted hair. Presented in a superb carved gesso frame. By repute a descendant of the Wedgewood family-
