Victorian Mahogany Upholstered Club Bench Late C19th (Sofa, Settle)

A late Victorian period, mahogany framed upholstered club bench, dating from the late C19th. This show frame bench, with upholstered back and sprung upholstered seat, cover in blue chenille fabric.

A handsome and quality club bench, with some minor flaws, well presented and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This club bench measures approximately 101.5 cm (40") tall, 191 cm (75.25") wide, and 77.5 cm (30.5") deep. The seat height is approximately 53 cm (20.75") at the highest point in the middle of the seat dome.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This club bench is in a reasonably good condition commensurate with its age. Some marks and blemishes, with numerous scuffs and bruises on the frame. The top of the right upright has been reglued, and there are two polished in chips to its back edge. No loose joints. The upholstery is structurally reasonable and more than usable. The seat is sound. The fabric cover has some marks and blemishes, and there is some plucking. The upholstery is not in the traditional method but there are no fire labels. Serviced, cleaned and wax polished. Very serviceable and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.

Returns

A 30-day return period is offered for peace of mind. Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied. Return transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and original delivery charges are non-refundable. Responsibility for the item remains with the buyer until it has been safely received back.
