Art Deco bronze figures emerged during the 1920s and 1930s, reflecting an era defined by modernism, sleek lines, and a fascination with exoticism, dance, and movement.

These pieces were typically crafted using the lost-wax bronze casting method, frequently enhanced with gilt, silvering, or cold-painted finishes, and mounted on bases of marble or onyx.

Authentic pieces generally feature signature markings from the sculptor or foundry, precise cast detailing, heavy material weight, and natural ageing characteristics appropriate for the period.

Positioning the sculpture as a focal point on a mantelpiece, sideboard, or executive desk allows its metallic finish and sculptural silhouette to complement sophisticated modern schemes.

Maintain the piece by dusting gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth, avoiding chemical cleaning agents, abrasives, and excessive moisture to preserve the original patina and gilding.
