Description

Late 19th century Chinese bronze censer,c1890. The main body has extensive decoration featuring birds and foliage. It stands on tripod Lion paw and mask legs with nicely stylised handles. The pierced lid has a large Fo dog /temple Lion finial. The bronze is a good colour and overall condition is good in line with age and use. There are old screws connecting the handles and finial which look to be replacements, I suspect where the original rivets have worked loose over the years.
