Antique Edwardian Mahogany Double Bed C1900

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique edwardian mahogany double bed and dating from aorund 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany with both the head and footboard having a shaped top rail above three sets of vertical mahogany slats with deep frieze panel to the footboard. All four posts are topped with architectural style caps and it stands on short squared legs on castors. It has its original screw in side irons and takes a standard double matress.

Measures: 57" high to headboard X 45" high to footboard X 80" long X 54" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the edwardian period.
