Japanese Meiji Cloisonne Vase

Description

This is a stunning Japanese cloisonne enamel vase in excellent condition dating from the Meiji period, circa 1870. The vase is an attractive shape with a hexagonal baluster form and is in a beautiful sky blue ground enamel with finely detailed design of birds amongst blossom flowering branches with hanging wisteria and entwined vines.

The piece is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration and measures 22 cms in height by 8 cms in diameter.

UK insured packing and delivery is £15.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
