Heals of London 1920’s Silky Oak Double Wardrobe – Splits Up

A very high quality, beautifully made Heals of London antique wardrobe that splits up vertically to allow for ease of transport. A lovely design having two long robe doors that have cross banded edges in olive wood, the rest is in silky oak that has wonderful graining. Made by Heals in 1920 and one on the robe doors has the Heals makers label inset, but the wardrobe is also signed by the Heals cabinet maker, R. Belcher on the back. All in excellent clean condition, complete with the original handles and inside is a vast open hanging space with all the original metal hanging rails. To move the Heals wardrobe, the simple cornice lifts off, it stands on a simple plinth and then the main wardrobe body splits vertically, so four pieces. A high quality Heals of London antique silky oak wardrobe that is a wonderful, original colour.
