Exquisitely handcrafted 6Ft forged iron Portuguese super king bedstead, a true marvel of individuality with fabulous hand finish. Crafted with unparalleled skill and artistry, this lovely piece boasts delightful Lyre inspired details that lend an air of enchantment to this lovely design. Pretty scrolled iron curves that dance gracefully, bestowing upon the bedstead an ethereal and lightweight allure, all while remaining resolute in its robust construction.
Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The siderails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base.
Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Carys and Middle Buff colour waxed over to protect and give a gentle shine.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 30 years.
We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
Local, national and international delivery can be arranged. Please send post code/address if quote required.
Workshop/store open Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm.
