Large Late Georgian Antique Westmoreland Mahogany Sofa

This is a super quality, late 18th century antique upholstered sofa, made using the best Whitehaven mahogany. A larger size and traditionally upholstered in clean fabric and with the original squab seat. In excellent, strong condition, the sofa frame is all very solid. A comfortable model having a splayed back rest along with lovely mahogany turned arm supports and front legs which finish on original, top quality brass castors. Originally from the Westmoreland / Cumbria region around 1800-10.
