Thomas Swift Hutton 2869-1935.Born in Edinburgh Hutton painted landscape and coastal views.By the age of 27 he was exhibiting at the Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts.He later moved to Newcastle and begin exhibiting at the Berwick Club and later both the Royal Academy and the Scottish Academy.His work is represented in the collections of the Shipley Art Gallery ,Gateshead and the South Shields Museum and Art Gallery. ‘ Looking up the Conway,North Wales ‘ signed watercolour, dated (18) 96; image size 24x34 cms ; framed size 45x56 cms provenance: with Messrs Dunthorne &Brown,The Rembrandt Gallery,Liverpool and London
