Description

A Quality English Regency Period Mahogany Sofa or Settee c.1820.

Of broadly rectangular form, and substantial quality, with a straight back rail, this practical piece has in-scrolling arm rests supported on turned conical columns supported by chunky corner supports with fluted and panelled detailing, and a typical late regency leg. The piece retains its original castors and has acquired a good patination.
