Late 18th Century pewter quart jug with a monogrammed U-shaped body inscribed “JB”, “Anchor Basingstoke” and “BS”, a broken arch handle with fishtail terminal, all upon a pedestal base. Other verification marks of “TB” with a rosette, “CCS” and “QUART”.

Circa 1780
