This really is a superb example of the work of Giuseppe Palanti. depicting a beautiful young lady in a lovely pink dress with a white collar in a landscape setting.
The painting has a wonderful provenance having been in the same family since new
and was a painting of Maria Gnocchi aged 9 years in about 1939.
