Antique Edwardian Mahogany Double Bed Wdb3770/27.12

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique edwardian mahogany double bedstead with fine inlaid stringing. Both the head and footboards have an inverted strung top rail with central mahogany panel with inlaid strining and with five squared slats to either side all above a deep base panel. It stands on squared posts topped with squared architectural style caps. It has its original screw in side irons and takes a standard double matress.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the edwardian period.

Measures: 52" high to headboard X 40" high to footboard X 80" long X 54" wide
