19th Century Howard and Sons Curved Chesterfield Sofa C1860

Description

A superb low slung mid 19th century kidney shaped chesterfield sofa by Howard & Sons - London. Raised on 3 stubby turned walnut front legs and 3 short splayed legs to the rear, the middle stamped with the serial number.

Both original stretchers to the underside and the original buttoned back stuffing.

Lacking the original brass casters however I have some period replacements on the way that will be fitted before they leave.

For upholstery.

As with all my upholstered seating I do offer upholstery should you wish.
