Antique Black Forest Hand Carved Hawk / Eagle/ Bird

Description

Here we have a wonderful antique hand carved Hawk perched on a tree stump and surveying the surroundings. With life like finely carved feathers this hawk stand beautifully. The detailing is fine throughout from the beak down to the fine talons gripping the trunk.

Even the trunk is beautifully detailed making it lifelike. The fine carving continues around the base with ivy leaves and grasses.

The approximate maximum dimensions are : 11 3/4 inches / 30 cm high x 6 1/4 inches / 16 cm wide x 7 3/4 inches / 19.5 cm deep

CONDITION: The carved hawk is in lovely condition as can be seen from the photographs. Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition, as what you view is exactly what you will receive.
