What is Anglo-Indian inlay?

Anglo-Indian inlay work combines traditional British furniture forms with elaborate geometric brass, bone, or contrasting wood ornamentation executed by Indian artisans. These items frequently hail from production centres like Hoshiarpur and incorporate dense, all-over surface decoration.
