Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

Art Deco furniture emerged in the 1920s and 1930s, characterised by sleek geometric shapes, streamlined forms, and the use of luxurious exotic veneers and polished woods.

Craftsmen typically utilised solid timber frames covered in high-figuring veneers such as satinwood, walnut, and mahogany, often finished with a high-gloss French polish.

Authentic pieces often feature symmetrical grain patterns, solid construction methods from the period, and distinct geometric or stepped silhouettes without excessive ornamentation.

Pair the table with minimalist upholstery, metallic accents, and neutral backdrops to let the rich wood grain and architectural lines serve as a focal point.

Maintain the surface by dusting with a soft, dry cloth and occasionally applying a quality beeswax, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture to prevent veneer damage.
