Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. FAQs

Vintage animation watercolours are original production artworks or promotional pieces created by studio artists, serving as the foundational visual development for classic animated films.

These pieces typically utilise high-grade watercolour pigments, gouache, and ink applied to artist-quality watercolour paper or illustration board.

Authentic pieces often feature hand-applied pigment variations, studio production stamps, graphite underdrawing lines, and appropriate paper ageing consistent with the mid-20th century.

Framing the artwork with acid-free mounts and UV-protective glass allows it to be displayed securely on a gallery wall or above a sideboard in a living space or study.

Preservation requires keeping the artwork away from direct sunlight, maintaining stable humidity levels, and using museum-grade framing materials to prevent paper degradation and fading.
