Description

Gents 1950s Alkania wrist watch.

The watch has a 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is the Robot-Matic by the German manufacturer August Hohl of Pforzheim, Germany.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just the odd minor mark but nothing serious at all. The case back is stainless steel, it states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and date display (not quickset).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
