The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Birmingham based case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennison produced cases for various watch manufacturers. The case is in lovely condition, as is the glass lens.

The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single gold plated chain, 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
