Antique Zenith Pocket Watch and Chain

1940 - 1960
Description

Antique Zenith pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 5,054,853 which dates it back to around 1960. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in lovely condition with just very light surface marks, nothing very noticeable at all. The inside of the case back is signed with the Zenith logo.

The signed dial is in beautiful condition with original Breguet style hands in a blued steel finish, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes a single Churchill style chain, 30cm long.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
