Marble Topped French Walnut Commode

19th century
Description

Circa 1860. A quality mid Victorian French walnut and marble top commode. The fossilized marble top with rounded corners and ribbed fore-edge, with a configuration of four full length drawers, all in book matched burr walnut, beneath the bottom drawer there is various mouldings and the whole piece rests on an enclosed plinth with unusually squat bracket feet beneath.
