Description

Antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch, 1896.

The watch has a gilded stem-winding movement, grade number 20, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 7,235,652 dates it back to 1896/97. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is gold plated and is in good condition, there is engine turned detail to both the front and the back of the case.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The white dial is signed with the name of the original retailer of the watch, A Frankfield & Co of New York. The dial is in lovely condition, blued steel hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
