Description

Gents Smiths Imperial wrist watch, c1960.

The watch has a calibre 0104 hand-winding movement, signed Smiths, Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chromium plated and the case back is stainless steel. There is wear and pitting to the plate, especially on the sides and back of the watch.

The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in good condition, just minor marking, nothing too serious. Original hands, seconds sweep with some minor surface marking, and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
