Description

This is very nice and unusual mid 18th Century country Mahogany Secretaire Tallboy of super untouched colour and surface. In magnificent original condition retaining the original gilt brass handles and locks with two working keys to the Secretaire drawer. The hinges to the interior, metal rod supports and axe drop handles are remarkably all original too as are the nicely shaped bracket feet. The linings are wonderfully clean, made in pine and have there original red wash still clearly visible. The back boards are original and untouched made also in pine.

A fine piece of English country furniture of pleasing small proportions.
