Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The drawers run very smoothly, some even have the original blue sugar paper lining, they have brass escutcheons and swan neck handles
The chest is of good solid construction, it has a superb patina and it is in good condition with age related wear and some old repairs, it measures 34” high 38" wide and 19” deep
