The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a signed Langendorf calibre 1037 15-jewel movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Lanco, one of the brand names registered by Langendorf.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel.
The signed screw-on case back states that the watch is water protected but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. There are a couple of scratches to the case back.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and a date display (not quickset). There is a little marking to the dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
