Description

Fantastic Japanese Tansu chest in remarkable clean, original condition. The pine has gained a lovely patina over time and has a raw unpolished finish. The elm wood fronted drawers retain original handles and run smooth. This two part chest has two sets of iron carry handles to the sides, the base set flip up to secure the top section. There are historic knocks and marks as is to be expected an item of it age, however these only add to its character and charm of this very functional piece of antique furniture.
