Spectacular Small Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers
This Spectacular Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers dates from ca. 1790 and is of lovely small proportions. This antique Lancashire chest has a beautifully figured top with moulded edge above two over three graduating cock beaded drawers with beautifully figured fronts, Brass fretwork handles and key escutcheons. This stunning antique chest of drawers stands on Ogee shaped bracket feet and has quarter column reeded sides. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of bees wax finishing.
